Well week 1 on the “search for my six pack abs” went well, down 5 lbs felt good, did some running and was hitting the gym hard!
Week 2…….different story! Didn’t lose any weight. Did go to the gym 3 days and ran 3 miles this morning, but weight stayed the same.
Was supposed to have video for you guys today of the group running, but half of the group didn’t show. So hopefully next week I can have something to show you guys.
Now for week 3….I am really gonna buckle down and really put a “hurtin” to myself. No rest and lets see if I see a difference.
I will also post some good receipes this week so stay tuned!
Well the first week on the “The search for six pack abs” has been pretty good!!
Down 5 lbs, haven’t had any pop/soda or alcohol.
Been snacking on a lot of almonds and dried cherries which tastes great!!
Also started training for the Solider Field 10, did 3 mile runs on Thursday and today.
Tomorrow will be Karate and the gym.
Gym on Tuesday and Wednesday……and lots and lots of ab work!
Next Sunday I will have video of our first group run!

If you want to eat healthy but don’t want to feel like you are on a diet, you have to pick up these books!! You can find them at Borders, Barnes & Noble, Target, etc. They have tons of recipes and most of them taste great! We have been eating alot of these meals for a while now, and they are all easy to prepare. Check them out!

Today was a pretty good day!
Breakfast : I had a bowl of Yogurt Cheerios.
Snack: A Banana and dried Cranberries.
Lunch: Turkey sandwich.
Snack #2: Apple and a Nature Valley Granola Bar.
Dinner: Is what you see above…….. Precooked Steak and Chicken with some onions and red peppers. Saute in olive oil and red pepper flakes and serve over Brown rice with a sprinkle of Soy Sauce.
The goal here is to eat every 2 to 3 hours and don’t skip meals! Especially breakfast!

Well today is the day!! March 1st – DAY ONE: The search for my six-pack abs.
Time to start a little experiment to see if I can get into the best shape
possible, and I am going to share it with all of you!
I have run marathons before, I go to the gym 3 days a week, take Karate
classes twice a week and still I am not in the shape I should be or want to be in.
What am I doing wrong? Am I eating too much or eating the wrong things??
Too much alcohol?? Do I need more cardio???
Well today is the day where we will start finding out!
This will be the page where you can see me struggle or succeed to my goal in
finding my six pack abs again and be in the best shape ever.
1. I will regularly post before and after photos.
2. Videos of some of my runs with my fellow runners and workouts . (that will lead up to
the Solider Field 10 miler in May)
3. and updates about what I am eating and drinking and what is working and
what is not.
…and why am I doing all of this you ask???
Well I figure if I post my progress for all to see, I will try that much
harder to reach my goal!
You guys don’t want to see me fail???? I know I don’t……
So lets begin the journey, it might be a rough road; but it will be
entertaining, educational, and rewarding!
